Celebrating 25 Years of Introducing International Design to Australia & New Zealand.
Continuing our 25-year celebration, we have carefully curated a collection of 25 products that reflect our journey and the partnerships we have built along the way.
This selection celebrates our longstanding relationships throughout Europe — particularly across the Scandinavian nations — while also highlighting collaborations in Japan, the UK, and the USA.

What better way to continue our celebrations than with the Dancing Pendant by Audo Copenhagen.

The Dancing Pendant has long been a beloved piece within the Audo Copenhagen collection. For us at DMI, it symbolises the enduring nature of our collaboration with this iconic Scandinavian brand, reflecting its evolution from Menu to Audo Copenhagen.
Audo Copenhagen was born from a collaborative spirit. Formed through the unification of Menu, The Audo, and by Lassen, the brand reflects both a century of Danish design tradition and a modern, global outlook that continues to evolve.
Its furniture, lighting, and interior accessories are defined by purposeful details, quality materials, and a deep understanding of human needs — all grounded in a desire to create lasting connections and meaningful partnerships.

At the heart of every Audo piece is an understanding of how people live, gather, and connect - resulting in furniture, lighting, and objects shaped by quality, purpose, and an ethos of soft minimalism
Rooted in Copenhagen yet reaching far beyond it, Audo creates environments that invite comfort, creativity, and most importantly, connection. Through close collaborations with leading designers and an ongoing dialogue between heritage and contemporary design, Audo delivers interiors that feel both intentional and deeply livable.

Design is an art of storytelling, according to Copenhagen-based duo Iskos-Berlin, and their Dancing Pendant for Audo Copenhagen beautifully brings that philosophy to life.
Exquisite yet playful, the expressive pendant draws inspiration from a dancer’s pleated skirt captured mid-twirl - a form that feels precise and structured, yet soft and fluid at the same time.
The Dancing Pendant: A Sustainable Statement
Available in two-sizes - the original 90 cm diameter version and a newer 60 cm option - the Dancing Pendant is crafted from tactile recycled polyester felt made using plastic bottles.
Both sustainable and functional, the pendant also helps absorb sound when suspended above a table, bringing warmth and softness to interior spaces.
A timeless piece, it has gracefully accompanied us throughout the years - a quiet reminder of the enduring partnerships that continue to shape our story.
